Hi. After hearing the beautiful three saxophone arrangement
in Bjork's "Anchor Song" I found myself dismayed that it was
physically impossible for me to play this great song. So
instead of learning to play 3 saxes simultaneously, I
thought I'd take a shot at transribing the song to guitar.
Here's what I came up with. This can sound really nice
on a classical guitar (it will require finger picking), but any
guitar will do. This arrangement is in the same key as the
original. Some of the chords require some serious finger
stretching since I accounted for every sax note (except for the
low note in the final chord in the song), but I'm pretty sure
this is the easiest way possible for an accurate transcription.
If anyone has finger placement questions,
corrections, or anything, email jonpecan@aol.com. Enjoy.
